Mental Health Support Counselor -
Culpeper Office and Charlottesville Office - Empowering Families Program is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to work on either a part-time or full-time basis.  The qualified individual should have a minimum of one year clinical experience and hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field according to the DMAS requirements for QMHP.  Masters degree preferred. Essential functions : The individual will work with a maximum of six clients weekly (hours vary depending on severity of case) with the expectation that each client is seen up to 10-12 hours weekly depending on treatment plan and progress.  The individual will complete all paperwork including but not limited to: Client documents, ISP's/Quarterly ISP's, progress notes and any other relevant documentation in a timely manner.  The expectation is the individual will work with the client to meet the needs of the individual and help guide/direct them with mental health issues.  The Mental Health Support Counselor will follow all regulations set forth by the state and comply with EFP's policies and procedures.  A viable candidate must be able to pass the pre-employment process including successfull completion of a full background check. If you are interested, please submit a cover letter, resume, three letters/names of references and salary requirements to: [email protected]

Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor -
Charlottesville Office - Empowering Families Program is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to work on either a part-time or full-time basis.  The qualified individual should have a minimum of one year clinical experience and hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field according to the DMAS requirements for QMHP.  Masters degree preferred.  In addition, the individual should have at least one year experience working in a school setting. Essential functions : The individual is able to work independently at a base school and provide up to six clients therapeutic treatment for a minimum of three hours daily and five days weekly.  The Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor will make weekly contact with parent/guardian of each client and provide written documentation.  The individual will complete all paperwork including but not limited to: Client documents, ISP's/Quarterly ISP's, progress notes and any other relevant documentation in a timely manner.  The expectation is the individual will work with the client and school administration to meet the needs of the individual and help guide/direct them with mental health issues and problems within the school environment.  The Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor will follow all regulations set forth by the state and comply with EFP's policies and procedures.  A viable candidate must be able to pass the pre-employment process including successfull completion of a full background check. If you are interested, please submit a cover letter, resume, three letters/names of references and salary requirements to: [email protected]

Intensive In-Home Counselor
Charlottesville and Culpeper Offices Empowering Families Program is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to work on either a part-time or full-time basis.  The qualified individual should have a minimum of one year clinical experience and hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field according to the DMAS requirements for QMHP.  Masters degree preferred.  In addition, the individual should have at least one year experience workingwith at risk youth devloping treatment plans and case manageing in the Client's best interest. Essential functions : The individual is able to work independently in the community and provide up to five clients therapeutic treatment each for 3 to 12 hours per week.The Intensive In Home Counselor  will provide most of hte intervention in the Client's home. and provide written documentation.  The individual will complete all paperwork including but not limited to: Client documents, ISP's/Quarterly ISP's, progress notes and any other relevant documentation in a timely manner.  The expectation is the individual will work with the client, family, community resources and other agencies like the schools, social services and court services linking services best to meet the Client's and family needs that's delienated on the treatment plan.  The Intensive In Home Counselor will follow all regulations set forth by the state and comply with EFP's policies and procedures.  A viable candidate must be able to pass the pre-employment process including successfull completion of a full background check. If you are interested, please submit a cover letter, resume, three letters/names of references and salary requirements to: [email protected]
